Unfortunately 2XL fits perfectly. LAUGH OUT LOUD. I'm 5'6 and 200 plus. Great fit. The nylon material feels like heaven (hadn't washed them yet, only tried them on when they arrived). They're not for dates. They show visible panty lines and if you have lumps and bumps, this thin material will make them visible. So go camping with someone who already knows you have a bumpy butt and wear panties, and they still love you. The material feels strong. Velcro pockets are fun, but I think everything in the pockets will be visible. After trying them on I expect them to be wonderfully cool on a hot summer hike and good for other exercises as well. I have a question mark about Snap. But they strike me as the kind of shorts that when worn out you buy another pair and another. It's so hard to buy online. That makes me very happy. Update: Tanned people are really the only ones with a plump butt/legs showing through. The dark ones are unremarkable in this regard. Now the two of me are sitting cross-legged and I feel very comfortable. Holds up well after the first wash.
