I didn't want to order these bulbs as they looked a bit odd and I was wondering how much you could really save on landscape lighting by using LED bulbs. I wanted to buy lightbulbs because on the 3rd or 4th time of the year (2020) some of my lightbulbs burned out like regular. I attributed the short lifespan to how hot the bulbs got when they were on. I have found these bulbs to be very difficult to install as the base is slightly thicker than regular Malibu glass bulbs. I found I had to stick a flathead screwdriver in the socket and "stretch" a bit. to use lightbulbs. The light from these LED bulbs is much brighter and much "whiter" than standard Malibu bulbs. The "whiteness" may be an issue for some people who like the warm white (slightly yellowish) color of "Malibu". However, these bulbs do not get as hot as incandescent bulbs and so far have lasted at least twice as long as the old ones. All 10 of these bulbs will last about 8 months, which is something I haven't experienced since the bulbs were installed (probably 10 years ago). Based on my experience I would recommend this item.
