Very cute and funny toy. Our daughter LOVES it. We use it when swimming or when we go outside to play in the children's pool. We bought it a few months ago and I've been waiting for a review based on some other reviews I've seen about issues. We replaced the batteries two months after purchase. Still works great. Anything that pumps water can be flooded. So if you hear a crunch, take it out of the water and let it drip (flip) from the top and bottom. Then wait until you decide that all the water has drained and put it back in the water and wait to see if it can create a full fountain again. When he can't go any further, take it out of the water and let it drain until the fountain can run as high as expected. This thing has also been abandoned and is pretty solid. But we did NOT let them throw him down the stairs (because we don't think he'll survive).
