I have two of these mats. The carpet has a pleasant gray color, very unobtrusive. I wish there wasn't a cat picture in the corner so it blends in better. This is easily fixed by placing this corner under the tray. Soft on the feet when you walk on it and seems like it really picks up junk provided you step on it and don't jump past it. falls for it. My cat peed on the box and peed under the rug. The smell has NOT come out after several wash attempts, it just got into the carpet. It also retains some water, so it needs to be hung dry after cleaning. I had to throw these away. Other than that I still have the other one and he's fine, of course he hasn't urinated. Maybe I won't replace another brand, I'll look for a more moisture resistant one.
