If your classic/vintage chandelier bulbs are flickering, you may need to fix them. It was pretty easy to install, although I'm not sure my grandma could have done it. I'm not an electrician, but just in case, turn off the power with a circuit breaker. However, I just made sure my kids didn't turn on the lights in the middle of the setup. You have to unplug the wires from the old one (note which wire color goes with which screw color), then unscrew the old one, screw in the new one, reconnect the wires and viola, you have a ( flicker free) light. Item works exactly as described, no problems and great value.
