It was a great investment! This has made all of my caps a lot more accessible - no more digging through stacks. It also gave me a bit more space in my other storage closets as it held more items than I could previously store in this space. It only took a few minutes to put everything in place - basically deciding what I wanted to save and what would be. fits the height of my closet. I didn't even look at the instructions - you just pull the expander out as far as you'd like (you might have to wiggle it a little), then squeeze the dividers to fit the ends into the slots. My glass lids pinch and make little noise as the shelf is a drawer but I'm sure I'll get used to it. The lids need a little more space to "hold" than to store. Also, I had to put a divider in the front so the first lid wouldn't fall out when I grabbed the other behind. I use it for pot lids, pots and lids and trivets. I didn't know where to store the three extra spacers so they are in the last three sets of holes.
