I bought this device because I swim and walk a lot. Out of the box, the only comment I have is that the USB port cover doesn't seem to fit well (obviously water will get in). The instructions say to dry out the USB port after swimming, so I assume this isn't a big issue. 8 GB of memory and a capacity for 2500 songs seems pointless without shuffle mode. Songs can only be listened to one at a time unless you keep tapping the button to skip songs, but it's not really possible to hit that button a few hundred times. I have some short 2-3 hour playlists that I will copy when I get bored with the previous playlist. This still takes up less than 1GB of disk space. Thanks to the bluetooth connection to my iphone, I can comfortably listen to my favorite music while walking. Convenient and safe location and reasonably priced if the random play mode was a big improvement. Then I could store a few gigabytes of my favorite music on it and never have to worry about downloading it again.
