spoiled with me! best in category Computers and Accessories

Earlier this month I redeemed my first KomputerBay Card. At first I was a bit hesitant because I had read about some of the problems; like it's a toss-up whether someone gets a good card or not. I then decided to give this card a try after seeing that it was half the price of the Lexar version and I was on a budget. I needed a 1000x card because I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark III with Magic Lantern. My plan is to continuously shoot at least 1920x1080 RAW and gradually increase the resolution to 2.5K. When I first got the card, I ran some performance tests and took some test shots. Everything went smoothly. For my first gig (photo event) with this card, I decided to shoot in regular 1080p h.264 because I knew the event would last for hours and shooting in RAW would take up too much space. Anyway, for the first 15 minutes of recording, my camera gave an error message and the LCD said there was no memory card in slot 1 (CF). I turned off the camera and took out the battery for a while. I tried recording again but after a few seconds I got the same messages. Luckily for me, my SD card is 64GB and I quickly swap to it and stow the computer bay. Later I tried to restore the footage to the komputerbay card but I couldn't copy, drag, cut or move files. I couldn't format the card on my computer or camera; Basically there was nothing I could do. I was lucky that the card went bad at the beginning of the performance and not in the middle or at the end. I have since returned the card. and bought another. I shot a quick fashion video last week (raw video at 60 fps) and so far it's working fine. I'll change my rating once I've hit the map enough. So far I have three Computerby 1000x 64GB and they work fine. I would highly recommend these cards over their more expensive counterparts. I've used these cards extensively (1920x1080 raw and plain h.264) and haven't had any crashes. I advise anyone who buys these cards or any other cards to stress test the cards before using them professionally.
