God! They work and are effective from day one! We've tried EVERYTHING for years and NOTHING worked! Put them on and within a day the dogs would lower their barking volume and think twice before barking. It wasn't first choice - no barking without collars would have been great, but it just wasn't realistic. It's better to have collars than to get rid of dogs because of the constant noise complaints from neighbors. Helped everyone find peace, improved relationships with neighbors, and made dogs happier (less reprimands, more invitations to socialize with the group/party). The adjustable settings are really great. Collars are adjustable in size but are awkward and big enough not to be needed by small/tiny dogs. Be careful - the "teeth" can come loose, so check all the others to make sure they don't fall out. After making such a positive difference I went back and ordered more to have backups for my grandparents house. It's also good to have a spare charger - too bad additional charging cables aren't sold separately!
