. I have an older PC with an older GeForce (budget at the time around 2012) that handles 4k well and the screen is very responsive. through this switch. But I have a Dell Precision 5530 that for some reason is really struggling to negotiate a good signal through this switch. It works well when connected directly to the display, but it lags very behind when adjusted via a switch and I often see strange on-screen artifacts. It also turns off regularly.** Update **Please note that this switch does not support 60Hz at 4K resolution. For a desktop/workstation, 30Hz was just unbearable for me. For that reason, combined with the fact that it can't maintain a reliable connection with my Dell Precision 5530 laptop, I'm putting it back in the box. I found another device that works better for me.
