Bought this float for our 9 month old granddaughter who is visiting in Maui. This is a lovely float, the canopy is an added bonus but the material has separated about 2 inches between where baby sits and the outside. Ring. We have not seen our family for almost a year due to Covid as we are at high risk so will not be purchasing a replacement. It provides a good buoyancy for our granddaughter but shouldn't break the first time. it was used as before and no our granddaughter is not heavy she is actually quite small
