First. The thing is cool - stable, easy to assemble, visually appealing. But most importantly, it's just an amazing lamp with really cool features and lighting modes. I used to swear by the big names but their products are a bit hyped and in many ways don't compare to Govee. I don't know what my first Govee product was, but as soon as I got it in my house it became my obsession. You literally have twice the features/modes for half the price. - NO HUB REQUIRED. I like the fact that they offer Bluetooth or Wi-Fi/Bluetooth options on many of their products, which keeps costs down when you don't need to control the lights remotely. What really sets Govee apart is their customer service. Fast and professional is an understatement. I had an issue with a product and my satisfaction with the issue was resolved beyond my expectations.
