Just what I needed
I was very upset that my front door wouldn't open! It was so embarrassing when we fiddled with the doorknob just to let someone in or out of the house. I looked at You Tube where someone pointed out this part. I didn't think the solution would be that simple, but it turned out. The other latch is simply worn out. It's not very difficult to replace, but I've already installed a couple of door handles. I got another one for the tailgate and that was just solved as well. Too bad I didn't know that beforehand.
