I ordered this light to improve my video conferencing performance. I work from home and most of my work is on zoom and I really care how you look. This small tweak made a huge difference, plus it's pretty easy to use, not to mention it stays tightly connected to my work laptop with no issues. The light part detaches easily so it's not a problem when I'm not using it. It is powered via a USB-C cable. I replaced the cable that came with this camera with a much longer one so I can connect to a remote power source. My laptop doesn't have many USB ports and I didn't want to waste them when I had an alternative. In fact it has a battery, it lasts more than an hour, maybe up to two. The one time I used the battery I got through a 1 hour meeting and most of the second and I connected early. I definitely recommend this site if you want to improve your looks with an easy to use product.
