I have thick, knee-length hair, the kind of hair that will destroy all but the strongest bobby pins and barrettes. Verily I am where invisible hairpins die a horribly mutilated death, I break plastic hairpins too. Also, I'm picky about what I wear on my hair. I avoid foods that can damage it. I got these in hopes of replacing the old style plastic cleats which I love (but destroy after a use or two). It's magical. 2-3 bobby pins is enough to tie my hair into a big bun and it stays on the run too! Bonus - they're just as easy to pull out as they are to put in. I'm doing hair #3 today just because it's such a new experience to be able to safely style my hair in a way that wasn't possible before. I'll rock Leah's bun tomorrow! Thank you Bloch. Update 5/12/21 - Guys it's been a year and I'm still using 10 original cleats and haven't been able to break any of them. Where have you been all my life?
