First I want to say that I have very fond memories of this toy when I was a child, so of course I was very excited to see it again, I was tired because it had 0 ratings. What finally drew me in was that there was an option to change the music that others didn't have and the music is very nice. loud, to say the least. With no music there is a slight mechanical hiss which is to be expected, it's not overwhelming at all. to win! It's less than I imagined as a kid, but it happens 😜 Our elf brought this as a gift because "he" was impatient and wanted to play with it. The penguins are adorable. My 4 year old is full time and is loving the one toy as I write this. The plastic didn't feel brittle or crack during assembly. I woke up this morning to my son's excitement about this toy so it took me a few minutes to figure out how the tracks connected as there were no instructions but it was possible to figure it out. The only thing that confuses is the wording "Runing Go" instead of "Runing Go" or "Penguin Race", which isn't a big deal. Overall as much fun as I remember and crazy music is optional!
