Review on πŸ”₯ Creality Extruder with Enhanced Heat Dissipation for Sensitive Extrusion by Abdullah Huan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works very well on my CR-10!

After watching a few videos on this set I didn't know what to expect. I first used the dial to manually rotate the extruder to make sure it rotated smoothly/freely, which it did. It also came with an extruder connector so I didn't have to manually flip it like many YouTubers did. By using the fan mount/duct I mention in the next paragraph, I didn't have to make any physical modifications to the existing hotend bottom bracket, nor did I have to reverse screws etc. Since the photo I've attached after this review was completed, I've replaced the hotend fan with one that matches the size since I couldn't use the included fan (my printer is 12v, the included fan is 24v ). I had to print two items from Thingiverse - a bracket (part number 4740250) and an air duct that uses the original fan (part number 4710860). I used the thermistor that came with this kit as the hotend didn't have a threaded hole for the one that came with the CR-10. I kept the original cartridge heater which fits perfectly. After calibrating my E-Steps (which I did by setting them to the initial setting of 916 after watching a video of installing this kit on another Creality printer), the flow rate and retraction (am end 0.4), all the prints I made came out perfect. I've had no trouble printing at 80mm/s and can't wait to try a few before I figure out what I want to print (lol).
