Update: I've marked this down 1 star after having about 9 months. The reason being is because the light recently went out. My daughter was in the middle of using it and it just went dark and the outlet didn't work. She was soo upset because she loves this thing.So I contacted customer service because it was still under warranty. They responded promptly and we went back and forth troubleshooting. It got to where after my husband took off the back cover to look for loose wires, as they said to do, that they said they were going to send me a new dimmer with instructions on how to install it. Luckily my husband has knowledge about electronics and his thought was it had to be the power cord. So he went out and bought a new one for a few bucks, exchanged it and ta-da, it worked! My daughter was ecstatic.I want to say the seller was great, they responded promptly to my messages and really tried to help. 5 stars to them.So then why the deduction to 4 stars you ask? The manufacturer. The whole reason for all this going back and forth and the suggestion of the new dimmer was the manufacturer was telling the seller this. In my opinion, this was still under warranty so they should've taken it back and sent a new one. They can then go to the trouble of repairing it. They should not expect the customer to do it!So be aware that it could go out and if it does, they may expect you to troubleshoot. Keep in mind they may not be right and that the power cord may be at fault.This thing is really nice and boy is it bright. My daughter uses only the lights on it to light her room up most of the time. The mirror is plenty big enough to see yourself. Came packaged very well. Oh, be aware this thing is actually pretty heavy.Only gripe would be putting it together. The instructions aren't great and trying to understand one part was hard. It took us forever to figure out which direction the base got attached. Once we got that everything else was fine.
