Review on SE Triplet 10x 21mm LED Loupe: Dual White and UV Light for Precise Inspection - MJ37802LV by Heather Shaw

I bought one and was impressed with the design, functionality and quality. Optics. There are similar models with one or two LEDs next to the lens, but the LED ring works much better and provides even illumination without shadows. I use a PCB inspection loupe and it works great. White backlighting is great for general viewing of parts, but I've found that UV light helps reveal manufacturer marks on semiconductor components. I expect a big increase in this price range will show some distortion around the edges. Using this loupe just an inch or two from my eye, I have a hard time seeing distortion around the edges. The magnifier came with AG7 alkaline batteries installed and they only lasted a short time - probably less than 10 minutes. I replaced them with silver oxide (SR927) counterparts for longer life. I suspect that the built-in batteries are reaching the end of their useful life or have been used before. I ordered a second magnifier as a gift from the same seller, but received a different type of magnifier. It had faceted/square edges instead of the rounded edges shown in the description. The LED switch also looked different and was defective. The seller paid for the return shipping and quickly sent the correct model. It looks and works like the first. Not sure if he will have the same battery issue but I'm giving away a set of SR927's.
