I have a 6 month old labrador retriever and after wearing this collar for TWO days it broke through and through. He is leash trained but will pull like any pup at times but not enough to get by. It was the second martingale collar he wore, the first one only changed because he was growing up. Luckily it doesn't pose a flight hazard if it were completely torn apart during the walk, but could still endanger it unnecessarily. I would caution buyers against this collar especially if you have a beagle or stalking dog that would run away if given the chance. Luckily the only good news is that I was able to request a refund.
