I bought an additional receiver and used both receiver and transmitter together. The equipment I use is Sony A7RII, Nissin i40 for Micro 4/3 and Nissin i40 for Sony. The combination of receiver and transmitter works perfectly with all flash units. Note, however, that TTL will not work when using this setting. TTL means automatic flash. For example, if you use TTL for your flash, your camera will check the exposure and adjust the flash accordingly for the correct exposure. This setup requires you to manually set the flashes for proper exposure by adjusting the output power files. This is not a problem for me as I prefer to do everything manually.
