I have ordered these YCCTEAM joy cons as a spare when we have a family. In terms of build quality, functionality and looks, they are almost identical to the official Nintendo Joy Cons. There are few cosmetic differences, including lines along the edge, the shape of the joystick and the indentation around it, and the ABXY buttons. I like the large + and - buttons compared to the official controllers, especially the - button. They're easier to find. The biggest noticeable difference is between ZL/ZR and L/R. They feel different when pressed. I don't know how to describe it, but the keys are louder, especially L/R. All other buttons on the front of the controllers work the same way. The easiest way to pair is to go to the Controllers section and plug your Joy Cons directly into your console. I can't tell any difference in weight or response. 20 hours of battery life is the same as Nintendo. Do not activate these controllers when updating the controller. The screen freezes. They work with the official Joy Con Comfort grip, but not with the charging grip. My only other complaint is that the USB-C port is very tight, with the included cable and another one I tested. This puts additional stress on the port and potentially reduces its longevity.
