I got this for a bug pouch to go with other axes I've bought for the same purpose (it's good to have more than one bug pouch or even an EDC pouch ). It seems very well built, can be used as a versatile tool for a variety of tasks. Of course there are other tools that could do a specific job better, but when space is limited its compact profile makes it like a Swiss Army knife. Also, it comes with a pretty good protective case.
