My wife with Alzheimer's became increasingly destructive and had hallucinations. Delirium, breaking table lamps, ripping out a cartridge from another table lamp, throwing it in the mud, attacking piano lamps, hitting objects with a stool, throwing objects at objects, hitting objects with a broom, yelling and swearing at objects on furniture. Seeing people in objects, yelling at "those peopleโ to leave. I already put three table lamps in the bedroom closets, pillows and under the beds. I had to do something, I thought maybe I would reduce their destructive behavior if I put a divider between the indoor and outdoor areas 1/3 of the room apart. And it works. it really worked. I have partitions all over my room for 19 days, my wife cannot see objects, attack or yell at her since the nets are up. This reduced their aggressive destructive behavior. She's still yelling and swearing at the juniper hedge outside, telling her not to come back, but the items in the room hidden behind the partition aren't visible, and this has taken away an area of the room that seemed to be her favorite place to attack. Now that I see the split screens have worked to reduce her aggressive destructive behavior by hiding the items she attacks. Now that I see that the room dividers are working for the purpose I bought them for, reducing my wife's destructive behavior, I'm going to buy two more three-piece room dividers for another room to hide about half of hers , which also causes them to hallucinate. aggressive destructive behavior involving hitting, throwing, and breaking objects. I don't like things like locking the fridge. but it deteriorated to the point where I had to. If your spouse or caregiver has Alzheimer's like my wife and is aggressively destroying items in your home, using these dividers can help. They helped me because my wife can't see the items and I will get two more to turn off part of the other room. I just got to the point where I had to do something and I'm glad the split screen worked the way I hoped it would. Today I regret not having thought of it earlier. Sometimes my wife comments on the split screen and I just tell her it turns "those people off" and she seems satisfied. She always sees "these peopleโ in things. nobody is really here. I only use the terms she uses. In terms of assembly, I had no problems and assembled two 3-piece screens in about an hour, maybe just over an hour. I didn't time it and it's been almost three weeks. The assembly of the second three-part split screen went much faster.
