This glass file is amazing. I've always used a pumice stone or a foot file similar to sandpaper. Who cares what that glass file does. My skin is soft and smooth. Now that I've tried different types of files, I can say that the sandpaper type and even pumice stone tend to tear my skin. I can say that because of the residual roughness, which I especially feel when I go to put socks on - they stick to the roughness. Not with a glass file. It's much thinner and therefore makes my skin much, much smoother. No annoying little edges on my skin. I also like its shape. It's ergonomic and very comfortable to hold to get all the odd angles of my feet. Its shape reminds me of a tangle teaser. Overall, this foot file works wonders and is worth every penny.
