I solved this problem by labeling the inside of each cabinet or drawer (bakery, bowls, cutlery, cooking utensils, oven items, etc.). Now when they ask where something is, I yell where it should be (often not), and they know they don't have to ask again. If it's not where it's supposed to be, then it's not where it's supposed to be, so find it! Cook. Each week I cook about three meals in separate containers for a quick snack or breakfast. At the end of the week I noticed that there were a few more dinners left. I asked my husband why he doesn't eat meals and he said he didn't know what was in there or he didn't know if it was for something I might cook in the future (sorry). Now when I prep containers, I print out exactly what's in each container so they can pick it up and get started. Yes, duct tape is expensive, but it actually lasts at least two months, and $20 on duct tape every two months is a lot cheaper than every meal.
