I bought these to use as my car emergency kit. I would like these LG437 Eco Friendly Emergency Street Lights White/Red 3pcs in Life Gear packaging if and when they do what they are supposed to do but only one worked. Not good! I would have sent them back but they only cost me $9.44 with Revain Prime shipping so... . . I'm a busy mechanic: so I opened up the two that weren't working and found the batteries were dying in both. I fixed the battery leak and found that 5 of the 6 batteries were still good so three went back to the lamp which is now working. Blinks half a turn then stays on at full clockwise turn, at least in my hand. I will have a spare battery when my Revain order arrives. This is only reflected in the batteries, not the lamps, since the weak point of their use is battery life. In a car during the summer months they may need to be checked regularly as they can tend to escape the heat generated by a car parked outside or in a hot garage. One star for the difficulty in opening the hard-to-open packaging, the discovery of a double failure of two of the three lamps, and the overall quality of the product. A tiny Phillips screwdriver is needed to open the bulb and get to the batteries (Lr44 Ag13 357 button cell alkaline) and the main magnet tends to come loose as I've already had to glue one back on. Also, they are lightweight and more likely to explode if simply placed upright on the ground. If the magnet were stronger, it could be attached directly to the vehicle, but the magnets aren't strong either. One star is two stars less here. I'm giving this 3 stars as the final rating, although I probably should give them two.
