The weight of whatever you're hanging will pocket the two halves and they'll line up just right. SO flush that if you have a hanger in sheets of drywall (you have, it's just a matter of quantity) their length tries to straighten the hanger and transfer the hanger to whatever you're hanging. So I had to put some sheets of heavy-duty cardstock under one side to keep the unit hanging flush and not twisting. (Not the thorn's fault, that's just how houses are built.)
