Synco Mic D2 is a cheaper alternative to mid-range professional microphones. Microphone with screw gun. The included cable is fairly small and really only usable if you're using it on a desk, although if it's a gun mic you'll want that. The included mount is also quite narrow and difficult to attach a mic to, works in a pinch but a shock absorbing mount should be used if possible. The specs are pretty good for the price, but they're not perfect. It seems to me that this was designed to be used with a windscreen, or at least foam, as without it it has quite a strong high-end pickup. Compared to something like the NTG3 it's not as sensitive, not as bass-heavy, but it has a good sound profile and performs well for the price. I recommend it as an entry-level mic to anyone looking to get a cheap but reliable boom mic.
