This is a very good shower head with good water flow when the water restrictor is removed. This is a very heavy piece of brass and appears to be of high quality. If you need a concentrated stream of water (especially for rinsing long hair), buy a six-jet nozzle rather than an eight-jet nozzle. I'm only giving this 4 stars because my old shower head (of a very similar design) only had four jets and I could actually set it to give a concentrated jet to rinse my hair. Our water pressure isn't great, but this shower head still works very well. The best way to remove this water restrictor is to follow the advice of a reviewer who said drill a small hole in the center, insert a screw and pull it out. My husband did it and got him out of there in less than five minutes.
