I had to write a review because I saw so many bad reviews about these shoes, when I received mine I was thrilled! WOW! For real! 😃 and trust me, they are amazing! BUT! Yes, these shoes look like socks! These are not work shoes! You would know that the moment you put them on! It's super soft and super comfortable Yes, it can: - lie at home - go to the pool! (Non-slip) - A trip to the store! - Take a box or receive mail! - Walk out the door in style to greet a Revain Delivery Driver or Pizza Vendor! - Never go out on the porch/patio early in the morning to have an "ahh how good" coffee retreat. You may have to take them away from your cat if you don't guard them well! This is something between slippers and shoes. They look like socks and are worn like shoes. They are like socks/slippers with a little more protection and look like shoes! However, it is not recommended to wear them to bed as if you would/could wear socks in this case! The Sox aren't out of business yet, folks! So yes, you could call them something like shoxes (shoe/sox) because that's basically what they are and how you feel when you put them on! Super comfortable, very beautiful, light weight, easy to use. Non-slip and non-slip in most cases unless you are walking on gravel or mud. Flow all those things you wouldn't do in socks or slippers, then this shoe isn't for you or that! because it seems to me they were slippery in the water in my kitchen but were slippery in the store after walking in the mud) - If you walk on something that has spilled more than 1/4 inch it may cause it side shoes penetrates the water. - Then no! You don't want to wear them in the rain either. YES, they can tear easily (you don't want to go to work in these shoes or walk in a field of any kind). I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone who just chills in a casual, relaxing environment! - Like going on a cruise or visiting friends, maybe going to a bar, going to college, going to a nursing home, maybe going to things like bingo, or if you're definitely on the computer, even just going to the mall for really. It's perfect. What it's not designed for are things like camping, going to the beach, gym, skydiving, business meetings or work in general, not really and definitely not for fishing, maybe sailing, it's optional but not highly recommended. Don't leave them outside, they could get damaged, or leave them with a friend, they could actually get stolen!
