Review on 🪑 Alston Ladderback Dining Side Chairs in Knotty Nutmeg and Grey - Set of 2 by Emily Brown

I bought 8 of these and made the first 2. I love the frames, the quality is impressive and they fit well. But when I got to attaching the cushions, my first thought was that they sent the wrong ones. But no, they're just poorly constructed. The rear corners of the pad base MUST have notches to allow it to be further positioned around the C-pillars. Instead, it's just a straight cut that leaves an unsightly gap behind the pillow, causing the front of the pillow to hang too far over the frame. I think that's understandable at this price point, but I'd happily pay a little more to correct this design flaw. The pillows are also thin and hard. There is room to grow!
