I bought this tablet holder to keep my Surface in an ambulance. If you've ever ridden it from behind then you know it's not the smoothest ride you'll ever experience. To be honest for the price I thought it wouldn't last the first two hours before throwing it in the trash. Well it not only held up, it suffered a lot and did NOT fail from day one. I'm still very impressed with him. It's made of hard plastic. It comes pre-assembled and fits a variety of tablet sizes as the base can be moved back and forth to fit and hold the tablet in place. However, if you pull hard on one side of the tablet, it will slide out, but it will not fall out on its own. When you peel the plastic coating off the plunger it gets very sticky but doesn't leave a sticky residue on what you put it on which was a big plus for me. It has 3 adjustable handles that are very comfortable for a good view. There is also a cushion for the back of the tablet that you can put on. Once you place it where you want it and pull the lever on the suction cup, it doesn't move. I certainly don't, and he's holding a hardcover Surface tablet. My tablet holder no longer stuck in all the interior walls, windshield and even the hood of an ambulance, but relaxed in bed and watched a movie on my personal tablet (the bottom can be used as a stand) which I had to give him 5 Stars. Personally, I haven't found anything I don't like about this topic. It serves its purpose and I will definitely buy another one.
