Holds the glass top in place

We recently purchased a small glass top side table but the glass was not attached to the base. I cut the rectangular bumpers to the length of the table legs and glued the sticky side to the base. Now the glass stays firmly on the base, won't slip or move, yet still detaches for cleaning and is easily rearranged.
