Review on Fiskars 164100-1001: Top-Rated Heavy-Duty Number 2 Blades, 5 Pack by Tara Ford

I have several Xacto knives but unfortunately they don't fit them perfectly. This blade is slightly larger than the standard #11 blade that came with my Xacto knives. Although it works with Fiskars 167110-1001, it is about 1/2 inch from where the standard size blade fits. This is because the base, which usually holds the blade in place, is too large to fit completely inside the knife. See attached photos. Fit issues aside, these blades are incredibly sharp, much sharper than the blades that originally came with each of my knives. I still give it 5 stars because the blades are great quality, especially for $2, and it's my fault for assuming they would fit standard Xacto knives. It doesn't work with my X-Acto x-3000 knife. The second photo shows the blades in the following order: #1 is the blade #2 is the x-acto x-3000 blade (#11) #3 is the Fiskars 167110-1001 blade (#11 ) As you can see, significantly larger than the original blades and will not work with most standard size Xacto knives.
