Ethical: As far as I can tell, the badger fat ingredient is from ACTUAL BADGERS. I looked for Tosovun's statement but found nothing. There are so many synthetic biomimetic oils (like squalane) out there that I see no need for the animal to die. The animal cruelty factor moves this cleaner from the middle of the list to the bottom of the list. Functionality: fur. I find this powder foams well. However, it doesn't remove my makeup, and the fact that it smells like the artificial floral scent of grandma's potpourri puts me off. Despite the low pH value and soft foam, my combination skin dries out a bit. And badgers too.
