The Jarlink loop magnifier is very difficult to use. You have to put the magnifying glass and the jewel up to your nose to see anything at all, and even then you only see one letter or symbol at a time in jewelers' markings. Other reviews talk about light. What use is light if you have to bring objects to your nose and then only see one letter at a time? The price is reasonable but the magnifying glass is USELESS at ANY price. I would like to return it, but the packaging and return costs are not worth it. Now I'm stuck with a useless item. The purchase over the Internet is a coincidence. To avoid burns, make sure the items are returnable and the return postage is free or not. Then you know where you stand before you place an order. Usage: The magnifying glass is difficult to use. Meaning: The item is useless at all costs. Light: Useless if you CANNOT read with the lens.
