Works perfectly. The hood rises and stays upright.
they weren't as easy to install as I hope on the Lexus LS430, but that's not the stays fault. It was awkward to put in and took a bit of strength to get it up properly. We found it easier to install with two people - one on each side of the hood. Pay attention to how the originals are removed and it will be easier to put them back.,. We installed 3 or 4 months ago and they still work fine.
