I was surprised how easy it was to assemble. No tools required - simply connect the floor structure with wheels on each side to a crossbar in the middle of the floor. Once assembled, the nightstand bed feels well made and sturdy enough to put a baby in. Due to the shape and design, the bed can roll under the bed next to the bed and move a little if your bed is low enough. Otherwise, you can use it next to your bed and the height will be adjusted as needed based on the height of your bed. The wheels are also lockable so you can secure it in place when rolling so it doesn't move. The mattress is quite thin and I'll probably look for something nicer to give it more padding, but that's enough for now. The whole "bed" part is made of fabric and the sides are breathable. One side can also be opened halfway to show baby or let baby see you. These bedside beds are very convenient for keeping your baby inside and also keeping them away from your own bed. It is worth the money spent
