I just appreciate the convenience of combining pre-filters and HEPA filters. (I usually swap them together anyway. I don't know where anyone gets the idea that HEPA filters last 6 months.) And cut carbon filters are a must in my opinion. If you just have to take these big sheets of paper and have to cut them yourself, not only will it take extra work and time, but it's never going to get right. I find that the quality of VEVA filters is equal to or better than the original equipment. And they are much more profitable than the "official" replacement filters. So, yes, I voted for them to buy your Honeywell HPA 100, 200, or 300. Tip for changing filters: you can wait until the lights go out. go ahead, but in my opinion it's like waiting for your car's "oil" light to come on before changing the oil - by then it's long overdue. What gives me a clue is what I can tell - at medium speed, "General Cleaning" on my HPA200 - if I simply place my hand over the vent where the air escapes, there is a noticeable decrease in the air flow. It's not that it's clogged and not getting air out, but I do feel that the airflow has decreased compared to what it was after the new filters were installed.
