The best part is that the cable is detachable from the charger. This helps prevent wear on the wire at the connection point, as opposed to a non-removable one. You are also dealing with only 1 cable instead of 2 like an OEM charger. It comes with a nice case for charging the charger and cables. My OEM charger stopped charging so I bought a second one for the house. I have also recommended it to my company's IT team as we use a variety of MS Surface tablets (Pro 3 and up) as well as Surface laptops. This works with everyone. I highly recommend it.
