This is a brilliant idea. Is there a coat without a hood? But that! We mostly wear them under snowmobile helmets, but they come in handy when you don't have a hood on your coat or jacket. It originally looked like the photos. When my daughter wanted to try it on, she first tried to tighten the cord and it broke. It wasn't even sewn into the fabric. Luckily I know a cheap but experienced seamstress and she fixed a new hat lol. After she was done she showed me how she didn't quite get this method right, there are a couple of holes where it looks like the cord should have gone but got nowhere so ours had some flaws, but it works and keeps them. warm head, are they tiny holes big enough for a cable to fit but with nowhere to go? It's kinda weird. Unfortunately I needed someone to fix it when we weren't even using it. So if you're not lucky, I advise you to stay tuned. But it was $10 so I won't complain too much. It does its job and would work without our seamstress, but it sucks when you buy something new and expect it to work and it doesn't. Just upside down.
