This is a water bottle. I wanted a bottle that I can take with me in my backpack when I go into the forest. I didn't care what color, I just wanted something light and tight. It's solid, has a big throat, doesn't leak. (I filled it up, turned it upside down and shook it) I think it will work fine. I received it today and it has instructions about 3 feet long with an imprint so small the ant needs reading glasses. LOL Why a thermos? I used a magnifying glass (yes I did). It was filled with important information on how to open it, how to clean it (remove the gasket and wash all the parts with warm soapy water) and how to use it there. I just got rid of your eyestrain. This is a water bottle. Seems solid, the ribbed fun side seems like a good idea and there are measurement scales on the side. Maybe if you use it to mix cocktails? It has a spinning counter so you can keep track of how many bottles of water you've drunk. What kind of anal clingy OCD, fussy Rain Man would need that? If you're such a rain man, don't you know anyway? Also can you tell me how many ladies and when wopner is on how much liquid you took. Now the conclusion. Well, that's another story. I saw the desire to keep track! At an additional $6.68, this is a great water bottle. Seriously, this is a good bottle.
