I don't know how, but after applying it looks nice but it makes the curve heavier, so I don't wear it at the very base of the lashes to avoid the Locke not to lose. I've noticed that they smudge at the bottom of the eyes after laughing. So if you have something like a smile, they are applied to the area under the eyes at the outer corner. I'll end up using it anyway, but the amount of touch-ups and trying to clean the area where the mascara is smeared isn't that fun after you've had a good laugh. Won't repurchase, it's good for errands, everyday use, but I want a good laugh every day so my mascara doesn't fly everywhere.
