Perfect for childproofing or stove!
Bought this to keep our brick cooker away from children. I took the extra length and added it on the sides to extend the full depth of our hearth. I am very happy with how it looks and feels so much better with my child playing by the fireplace. Now, I haven't heard of it being stove-bound because I don't want trash on it when we don't need it anymore, but it still stays in place. Be sure to read the cutting instructions as it will make a world of difference when finished. They also give you lots of double sided tape to hold the pieces together tightly which was really nice. I've only had a few months so not sure how long it will be, but so far so good!
