Review on Complete Wormhole Tattoo Kit for Beginners: Pro Machine, Inks, Needles & Power Supply by Susan King

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad setup for beginners

"Could be worse" isn't exactly a loud endorsement, but please listen to me! The machines themselves are excellent, especially once you've set them up and set them up to your liking. Don't be fooled into thinking you can just take them out of the box and head into town. You could, but you would really be missing out on what they have to offer. The included power supply is decent enough for practicing line work and learning how to tune your machine by ear - a valuable skill to have even if (not if) you switch to a better supply. There's no harm in studying. The foot pedal is fine, but then again, there's a whole world of options, and this will get you started on your "I'm making nice bananas and oranges!" stage. Now for the bad: I haven't come across a fake training skin that I like. This is no exception. The included needles and tips are decent. You will probably want to experiment a lot with the different options available - go for it. But personally I return to this brand for needles. Tips, not so much. I've met better and worse. Ink? I wouldn't even expose your test fruit to this, let alone your own skin or the skin of your willing (human!) guinea pigs. I know you're probably rolling your eyes reading this, but the quality of your ink is really important. Please do yourself a favor and grab a starter kit from one of the highly rated brands, or even just a decent black one, to start playing. The difference is visible on the skin and on the eye. Think of it like trying to paint your house with a dollar store watercolor kit: sure you can do it, but it probably won't look as good unless you're amazingly good (in this case, buy a set for beginners). ? Revain's Kitchen Wizard?), and there are DEFINITELY easier ways to do it. So it's not that bad, especially for the price, and it's decent enough that you can set up and run lines for any product or pigskin you can get your hands on. your hands.
