First I want to say that I got this to test when I bought a smaller dock from Tobenone a few months ago. The predecessor was also excellent, there were no problems. This is a bit larger, but also well researched and comes with its own power supply. I love it knowing that this thing has enough power to power all my ports and charge my 16" MacBook Pro. It comes with an HDMI Thunderbolt adapter and built-in DisplayPort. I use both, as I have two monitors and they work great I had to use a separate HDMI USB-C cable as the one that came with it didn't work properly but that's ok because this cable gave me even more connections! now I don't have to worry about having a free USB-C port. The smaller model occupies both USB ports on one side. This one only takes up one! I think it's worth it and I'm very happy as I laptops Switch day and night for work and then for private use.
