This valve cover is a Chinese copy of much more advanced Dorman and GM versions, both of which I've used for the last few years with no problems. This version has tons of burrs and sharp points, some of which can damage VC sockets. I trust pads the same way I trust women like Amber Heard. Maybe they seal it. Perhaps, like the American family court system, they disappoint me and cause unnecessary headaches. I can't risk it for customer cars or my personal races. I didn't even install mine. It is brand new in the packaging and will be kept handy "in case of an emergency". Because I couldn't return it within 30 days (100% my fault).
