This will work with a laptop, but you should note that the supplied USB cable is not long enough to run from the flashlight itself to the computer's USB port . The cable is clearly intended for the camera. Also, you need to set the screen at a right angle or less, otherwise the weight of the lamp will pull the screen back and make it unusable for scaling. (I'm using an 11-inch MacBook Air.) If you're willing to do some customization, e.g. B. inserting your own cable, the light is fine even considering the price. I haven't decided yet whether to keep it or return it.
