Worked for me and my APX 7000

So just a little bit for me. Received this after my department switched to Motorola APX 7000 radios (with long antennas). We were given a bassinet holder with belt clips for use on the duty belt. Well, I work in the detective department and we don't use seat belts. So my radio always either shifted or fell when I got in and out of the car. So I decided to give it a try and it worked! I removed the clip from the stand's mount, put the C-clip in, and put the clip on the belt and everything worked. I had an issue, which isn't a big deal as it wasn't made for this radio, was that the long antenna and attached microphone made the radio feel a little heavy. So the radio always wanted to turn forward a few degrees. But it never felt like the radio was "out of control" or fell out of the seatbelt cradle.
